THE VIVIAN INDUSTRIAL PARK is located north of the city of Vivian off of LA Highway 1. It has 7 acres zoned for heavy development, with water, sewer, electricity and natural gas in place.

THE WARD II INDUSTRIAL PARK is located off LA Highway 1 south of the town of Vivian. It has nearly 1,000 acres zoned for heavy industrial with water, sewer, electricity and natural gas in place.

AEP Southwestern Electric Power Company, a division of American Electric Power, is a three-state electric utility serving approximately 520,400 retail customers in the states of Louisiana, Arkansas and Texas.

AEP SWEPCO is the provider of electric service to Caddo Parish and the Town of Vivian area.

AEP SWEPCO serves the Ward II Industrial Park through the Superior substation. The substation has 20 megawatts of capacity. Currently the peak loading is at 7 megawatts with excess capacity of 13 megawatts available. This substation is served by a 69 kV transmission line interconnection system. The substation is approximately 5 miles from the industrial park. The industrial park is currently served by a 12,500 kV distribution line.

AEP SWEPCO serves the Vivian Industrial Park through the Vivian Substation. The substation has 20 megawatts capacity. Currently the peak loading is at 12 megawatts with excess capacity of 8 megawatts. This substation is served by a 69 kV transmission line interconnection system. CenterPoint/Reliant Energy is the source for natural gas available in the Ward II and Vivian Industrial Parks.

CenterPoint provides a four (4) inch natural gas line at 60 psi to the Ward II Industrial Park and Vivian Industrial Park.

CenturyLink telecommunications is the 4th largest independent telephone company serving the Vivian area. They offer a variety of services including local, long distance, broadband, ethernet, Key & PBX services.

CMA Communications offers different commercial products including a modem solution that is 8 mbs download and 1 mbs upload. CMA also does a direct fiber connection for as much broadwith as is needed.

BlueBird Wireless is also available in the area providing services like high speed wireless internet, DSL, T-1 connections, and Co-Location services.

Water/Sewer

Town of Vivian provides the water and sewer services to both the Ward II and Vivian Industrial Parks. Water production capacity is 0.75 MGD.

Town average usage is at 0.4 MGD with a maximum demand of approximately 0.6 MGD.

The Ward II Industrial Park has a twelve (12) inch (2.5 MGD) water line in the park.

The Vivian Industrial Park has twelve (12) inch (2.5 MGD) water line in the park also.

The Town’s wastewater collection system consists of a 0.6 MGD sequencing batch reactor type wastewater treatment plant.

Current daily wastewater flows a the facility average 0.298 MGD so the plant is operating at approximately 50% of its design capacity.

The Ward II Industrial Park has both an eight (8) and twelve (12) inch sewer (1.5 MGS) lines in the park. The Vivian Industrial Park has eight (8) and twelve (12) inch sewer (1.5 MGS) lines in the park.
